Dick Conover happened upon this couple to find they had just moments before, decided to get married. Dick  was the first to know. He caught this picture of the happy couple.

As promised these photos were received from Kim Atack and Herb Simmerman marking their marriage recently.  We are happy to be permitted to be part of their lives.  We are but strangers only once on "The Pointers" WebSite.

    Kim and Herb were married on November 24, 2000, at 12:00 noon at The United Methodist Church in Cape May Court House, New Jersey. Present was their minister (Pastor John Koch), Kim’s mother (Nancy Rice), stepfather (John Rice), father (George Atack), stepmother (Winnie Atack), and Herb's grandmother (Anna Simmerman).   The couple spent the weekend camping at Bass River State forest, and having a champagne brunch in the Seaview Marriot. It was said to be, "A perfect first weekend!!!    The happy couple said, "We are really enjoying the Pointers WebSite" adding, "It was truly a blessing that Dick Conover happened upon us that fateful day at the Bill Morrow Beach pavilion!" Kim and Herb told this Pointer editor that they wanted to be married sooner than planned, and are planning a formal wedding celebration on November 24, 2001.
